How we work with NDIS Participants

Initial Assessment (Required)

All NDIS participants must complete an initial assessment before starting.

This allows us to:

  • Review NDIS goals

  • Confirm funding categories

  • Determine support ratios

  • Assess safety and risk considerations

  • Develop an individual participation pathway

The assessment is charged under the applicable NDIS support item, in line with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

Support categories and pricing are confirmed with your Plan Manager (or directly with you if self-managed) at the time of agreement.

NDIS Membership Fees

Membership Structure for NDIS Participants

Participants accessing services or programs through the NDIS (Self-Managed or Plan-Managed) are required to hold a Program

Membership in order to participate in Spectrum 3 programs.

Where NDIS funding is applicable to the program being delivered, the minimum Program Membership fee is:

  • $20 per participant per month

  • Maximum $100 per family per month

This Program Membership contributes to:

  • Facility costs

  • Insurance

  • Administration

  • Equipment and maintenance

  • Program development

In some cases, specific structured programs may operate under a separate program participation fee where the activity involves additional materials, facilitation, or extended program delivery (for example, multi-week structured programs such as one of our Life Skills or Social Building Programs).

Where this applies, the program structure and applicable fees will be clearly outlined prior to enrolment.

Where NDIS funding cannot be applied to a program, the standard Program Membership participation rate of $30 per week per participant applies as a minimum for the duration of the program and the Monthly fee does not apply.
